Houston heart walk 2021, drew huge crowds , raising about 1.7 million dollars .

Huge crowds of Houston residents came together on Saturday the 13th of November 2021 at the University of Houston Campus ,contributing financially and walking in their different groups to defeat heart disease and stroke in Houston...


The association says "It's never been a better time to find new ways to boost physical and emotional health. Joining the Heart Walk is a great way to socially connect and get moving - all while making a great impact in our community and saving lives".
The organization also says that , those who register and walk do the following <
1 Save more babies and kids who have congenital heart defects
2Train thousands in life-saving CPR3 Fund groundbreaking brain and heart research
4 Champion health equity for all
Cerebro-vascular accidents or strokes may be related to thrombus and or emboli in the heart vessels that compromise blood flow to parts of the brain or bleeding or haemorrhage as a result of burst aneurysms or burst dilated blood vessels in the brain .
Heart diseases and stroke are some of the life threatening chronic diseases which can be prevented by physical exercise , change in diet , lose of weight , no smoking and moderation in alcohol consumption and control of blood pressure .
