Turbo-Machinery and Pump Symposia started with Welcome by Drs. Peterson and Aguilar.

Dr. Guillermo Aguilar, Professor and Department Head of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University was the guess of Dr . Eric Peterson , director of the Turbomachinery Laboratory at the Texas A and T University .
Dr .Peterson welcomed attendees to the 2022 Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium and asked them to take advantage of the different programs available for them, for the few days they will be in the city of Houston Texas USA .
Some of the programs are cutting edge technical programs and the exhibit hall with different vendor companies with booths having information on their products and or services .
At the innovation presents , presentations are expected dealing with Zero Carbon emissions and digitally enabled Zero-Emissions Seal leading the way towards low Carbon footprints .
Professor Aquila talked about his work in California with other engineering universities before becoming head of the Mechanical engineering section of Texas A& M university .
