INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE 2022 STARTS ON THE 29TH OF JULY WITH OPENING SESSION .

A high-powered panel, including André Picard, Linda-Gail Bekker, Rachel Ong and John Nkengasong, discuss why and how the world must re-engage and follow the science to overcome the HIV epidemic as a threat to public health and individual well-being.

The session concludes with the unveiling of the AIDS Quilt, which celebrates the lives of thousands of people who have died due to AIDS, and a kaleidoscope of Canadian song by Barbara Lewis and Doug Balfour.
