Ketanji Brown Jaskson nomination vote ended in a dead tie at the judicial committee.

11 republican senators voted no and 11 democratic senators voted yes at the senate judiciary committee today the 4th of April 2022.
Many pundits of USA politics and Statecraft expected the votes to be cast along party lines and the senators did just that .
Why did half of the senate judicial committee say she is not qualified by teir votes ?.
Like Democrats with Kavanaugh 'the republicans have chosen to please the base of their party in casting their votes like the democrats do republican appointed candidates .
So sad to know that she could not get any republican vote in the judiciary committee.
Putting people in the supreme court should not be a partisan affair especially as they serve for life .
The message that the partisan vote sends to the World is that the American court is partisan .
.The 60 votes filibuster forced the parties to work together absent of which the credibility of the court is put to questions.
What ever the outcome ' it is on records that democrats did not have the committee vote to get her to the senate and must now use partisan procedural measures to do so.like republicans with previous candidates .
Since judges in Texas are elected ' some belief that the supreme court of the USA should have elected members.
The partisan nature of American politics does not serve the nation well.
