Alpha Kappa Alpha South Central Region Holds the 90th Regional conference in Houston Texas .

The South Regional component of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority , Incorporated in the USA is holding it,s 90th South Central Regional conference at the George Brown convention center , Hilton Hotel and Marriot Maquis hotel down town under the leadership of South Central regional director , Ms Toya T Hayes and the Supreme Basileus Glenda Glover with the theme "Reigniting the flame of excellence and sister hood ".
The conference runs from March 16th to 20 the with delegate meetings , workshops and plenaries .
The exhibit hall has vendors selling merchandise and other resources to the participants and delegates .
The public meeting takes place onThursday the 17th of march from 6pm to 8 pm at the George R Brown convention center exhibit hall BC .
Some of the continuing education courses are diversity , equity and inclusion , Levers of Leadership , mediation , Advocacy , Agitation and Activation and Mental health first aid .
