Interfaith dialogue to Combat Violence in Houston resolved to partner with local leaders.

Christian  and  Islamic  leaders  met at the Shiloh  Baptist  Church  to discuss and address  ways to  fight  increases  in violent crimes  in the Houston  communities..
The speakers who included  representative  of Houston Sheriff  Gonzales  and  HISD  police chief talked about the partnership between  public safety and public health in tackling the problem in a holistic manner .
    The  Rabbi ' Imams an Christan leaders  cited  the Bible Curan and New testament  in their  presentations .
    .congress Woman Shieler  Jackson-Lee was the Keynote speaker ' who said the shooting s on the high way of residents was unacceptable ' though  putting in perspecti ve  the challenges of Houston minority communities  and  what  she and her colleagues are doing at the level of congress to address the increase in crime waves which she  called an epidemic  that will soon become pandemic if something is not done . 
. It must be noted that Global community health  experts address  Injuris and violence  as part of their work. 
    The leaders agreed to work together  to produce a resolution that will guide their participation  and partnerships with faith communities ' law and order' local and national governments  in addressing the challenges.
