Former Democratic USA Senate Majority leader Harry Reid has died.

The Nevada senator and former democratic senate majority leader Harry Mason Reid Jn has died. Reid was a leader for many years working with former President Barack Obama to pass the affordable health care act.
He suffered losses for the Mayor of Las Vegas and USA senate before elections into the house of representatives, from where he was elected into the USA senate.
Harry Reid served as lieutenant governor in the state of Nevada
Tributes have come from many political leaders including Barack Obama and senate minority leader McConnell.
Senator Reid was diagnosed with cancer which caused him to resign from the senate, he then returned home having care close to family members.
