OTC Makes USD 200,000 Donation to Hurricane Harvey Relief

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Board of Directors announced today that OTC is donating USD 200,000 to the Salvation Army for Hurricane Harvey disaster relief.

“Houston and Harris County are home to OTC and many of its exhibitors, attendees and volunteers. Our hearts are broken seeing all of the devastation that Hurricane Harvey and the floods are wreaking on our beloved city and the Gulf Coast region. We are eager to provide support in many ways including this financial gift.” says OTC chairman, Wafik Beydoun.

“This donation is only possible because of the support from our 13 sponsoring organizations, as well as corporate support from exhibitors and sponsors,” concluded Beydoun.

The Offshore Technology Conference was founded in 1969 by engineering and scientific organizations as a response to the growing technological needs of the global energy and environmental protection industries. The conference is held annually in Houston at NRG Park.
