Chevron Houston 2019 marathon to take place on the 20th of January .

The city of Houston continues to prepare for the 2019 Chevron Houston Marathon for the 20th of January 2019 .

 Elite athletes from Africa , Europe , America and other countries will converge in Houston to participate is this international event that holds in Houston once yearly .

  Congress Woman Jackson Lee hinted in 2018 that she may be participating in the 2019 race .

 Most of the elite athletes undergo professional training that prepares them for the race .

 The memorial Hermman sports medicine institute will also be hosting it,s 2019 exhibition at the convention center down town Houston, which is open to the public  .

  The winners of the 2018 race took home thousands of dollars which was promised to be put to good use like building  houses  for themselves .
