A panel under Chagas disease in the USA, discussed the present situation after 2015 when only seven cases were reported through the authochinous vector born . Four in Texas , one in California , one in Tennessee and another one in Lousianna .
The Cardiomyopathy cases complicating the infection also helped in better understanding of the pathogenesis , treatment and control of the infection .
