The Houston Livestock show and Rodeo 2018 .

The the biggest livestock show and rodeo around the world , known as the Houston Live stock show and Rodeo holds from the 27th of February to the 18th of march 2018 at the NRG reliant stadium premises in Houston .
The show began in 1932 as the Houston fat stock show , after which it has grown into the world,s largest livestock show and and Rodeo .
The show is built around agriculture through out the gulf coast , Texas and beyond . The are live stock expositions , training and educational programs and hands on interaction . The show commits more than $7.56 million to young Texas with demonstrable leadership capacity .
Greater than 750 scholarships are given each year to Texas graduating seniors , as well as existing show scholars . Some of the areas of sponsorship are aerospace engineering , teachers , state representatives and ranch managers .
Some of the highlights are the armed forces day presented by BHP, Livestock and horse shows , carnival and the African American heritage night .
The 22-23 of February are dedicated for BBQ competitions . The is a race and parade on the 24th February down town around the gardens of the city hall Houston .
