Leukemia and Lymphoma society lights the night nationally to dispel the dearkness of blood cancers

The leukemia and Lymphoma society [LLS] holds national campaigns called "light the night ",for awareness and fund raising in the fight against blood cancers .
In the their recent event in Houston which took place at the minute maid park , thousands gathered with yellow , red and the white lights of survivors to light the night of Houston down town , dispelling the darkness of blood cancers .
The leukemia and Lymphoma society raises funds for awareness, prevention , treatment and research . The target for the Houston campaign was 1.5 million US dollars .
