American society for mass spectrometry holds 64th conference in San Antonio.

Thousands of delegates from the different states of the USA , besides many internationals are presently participating in the 64th conference on mass spectrometry and allied topics at the Gonzales B convention center down town `San Antonio with the support of sponsors including Agilent Technologies , Shimadzu , Bruker and Waters. The are sessions on environmentalism , forensics , food and nutritio, spectrometry in medicine including biomarkers for diseases like tumors and cancers , the place of spectrometry in drug industry , like it,s use in the separation of components of a drug to know if they are fake , use in clinical laboratory work . The are poster sessions , oral sessions and workshop s and plenaries . On monday the 6th of june 2016 , DR SCOTT MCLUCKEY , of Purdue University was given the award for the distinguished contribution in mass spectrometry . www.asms.org
