Nancy Pelosi awarded Elizabeth Taylor Aids foundation LEADERSHIP prize .

Nancy Pelosi ,former speaker of the USA congress was on thursday 09/10/2015 awarded the Elizabeth Tayloy  AIDS foundation prize  for her work and successes in the fight against HIV/AIDS .

This except of her first speech in congress reveals the interest she had in the hiv/aids work from beginning   , " Now we must take leadership of course in the crisis against AIDS ".She helped increase discretionary funding for hiv/aids ,besides spearheading the afforadable care act that has helped with more funding for prevention and care .
